Limitations
What the platform does not do, or not yet
The limits of NEXUS Build as the code sets them today (26 October 2026). Values marked “by default” can be changed by the platform administrator.

What can be built
- 01
Four templates, not any application
Client portal, configurator / calculator, internal tool with a dashboard and presentation website. A specification cannot add data types beyond the fixed ones of its template.

Only the client portal is “available”
The configurator, the internal tool and the presentation website are beta: they are offered, but their own proofs are still open.

The AI changes only part of the code
It writes the pages, the components and the application logic. Packages, database migrations, sign-in and configuration are fixed by the template.

One job per project
While a job runs on a project, another one does not start.

Two languages
The platform is in Romanian and English only.

Usage limits

Jobs at the same time
At most 4 on the whole platform and 2 per organization, by default. Beyond that, a job waits in the queue.

Daily AI limit
$5 a day by default, for the whole platform (the estimate agent has the same default limit). Once it is reached, the AI is not called again that day (Romanian time).

Budget of a job
25 credits by default.

Approval to publish
Valid for 30 minutes by default.

Previews expire
After one hour by default; the sandbox that serves the preview is removed then.

Previews use only synthetic data
Previews run with synthetic data and synthetic accounts. Real personal data does not go into the sandbox until its provider offers an EU region and a data processing agreement for it.

Uploaded files

Client portal: 10 MB per file
The extension, the declared type and the first bytes of each file are checked.

No antivirus scanning
Uploaded files are not scanned for viruses yet. Adding it is planned work that needs an approved cost.

Data import
By default at most 10 MB, 10,000 rows and 100 columns per file. Imported rows are kept for 30 days.

PDF documents
The logo is at most 512 KB. A list has at most 2,000 rows and a batch at most 100 documents, by default.

Published applications

Where they run
On Fly.io, in the Frankfurt region by default, with the database on Supabase, in the Central EU (Frankfurt) region by default. The public address has the form name.fly.dev.

Start on the first request
The application’s machine stops when it is not used and starts again on the next request, so the first load after a pause is slower.

No public sign-up inside the applications
Accounts are created by the portal’s administrator.

Migrations only add
No migration deletes data. Going back to an incompatible version is refused.

The free Supabase plan
Applications are published on Fly.io and Supabase Free, and each published application has its own Supabase project. As stated by Supabase (read on 26 October 2026), the Free plan means:

At most 2 free projects
So at most 2 published applications on the current plan, until a paid plan is chosen.

Space per project
500 MB of database, 1 GB of files and 5 GB of egress (outgoing traffic).

Pause after low activity
A project with low activity over 7 days is paused. The data stays and the project can be started again.

Payments

VAT
Automatic tax calculation (Stripe Tax) is off by default. Prices are final.

Off, not simulated
While payments are not configured, they are switched off; nothing is simulated in production.

Features without keys stay off
In production, building, publishing, payments and e-mail answer “not configured” until their keys are set. A simulated provider is refused at start.

Automatic tests use a simulated AI; the real AI is tested by hand.

Backups and availability
- 01
Copies on the server
A nightly copy of the platform database, kept 7 days, plus the last 5 copies taken before updates. The hosting provider also keeps 7 daily copies of the whole server.

Off-site copies: not switched on yet
Encrypted copies outside the server are prepared in the code, but they are not configured yet.

One server
The platform, its database and the company website run on the same server. There is no separate test (staging) environment.

No SLA
NEXUS Build offers no SLA: no availability figure and no committed recovery time.

Version files are kept
The files of the application versions are not deleted today, not even after the organization is deleted. A fix is proposed.
